Why I Love This Hymn
My ministry is with the sick and shut-ins. Years ago I ministered to Beverly DeSuza's mother, and this was her favourite hymn. She asked me to sing it at every visit. I can't sing, but I sang it anyway. After almost twenty years of visits, she had converted me, and it became my favourite too.
What I Carry from It
Sometimes the people we go to encourage plant the deepest songs in us. None of us was meant to travel life’s rugged way alone.
